Win win situations

Hi,

I've been busy recently putting into place an exciting project with The Peace Hospice in Watford. It was always my intention to help a chosen charity when I set up Man and Van Moves and the hospice was top of my list to support.

The reason for this is simple. My mum Beryl, saw out some of her last months there in 2005. The care she recieved was brilliant. The staff were kind, patient and friendly. There's an air of dignity about the place which helped my family cope at such a difficult and draining time.

The Peace Hospice relies on donations & fund raising and needs to raise £3m a year to keep up its support and care for people across souh West Hertforshire. It's with this fund raising goal in mind that our project with the hospice was born.

From the start of September Man and Van Moves will be delivering and collecting charity bags across south west Herts. The hospice is asking for any unwanted clothing, shoes, bric a brac and books. These will be distributed throughout its network of fund raising shops.

I like to do business where everyone comes away feeling happy. For me this project offers a chance for a win win situation for all involved. If it all works out well everyone involved with have a smile on their faces :)

People donating goods know that they're helping a brilliant charity, Man and Van Moves has a regular contract helping a cause it believes strongly in and the hospice gets much needed items for its fund raising shops.

cheers

Jerry :)
